James Leonard Acree, Sr., who originally came to Dothan carrying mail on horseback served as Dothan’s thirteenth mayor. This photo was made on North Foster Street.	In 1940, Caroline Acree, daughter of Jim Acree, regally graced the Supreme Ice Cream float in the Peanut Festival parade.
