You are invited to inform us of your own favorite author.  We really want to know.

Grady Thrasher,

Dothan High School graduate, was a corporate lawyer for forty years in Atlanta--and after retiring he was able to have time to write and garden. He was invited to read a story to his grandson's  Kindergarten class and decided to write a story for them about gardening.  After story time, the teacher told him he should have the story published.  As there aren't many "how to" guides for gardening for children.  That is how his second career began a few years ago!  He is now writing his third Tim and Sally book-- a book of poems for the holidays.

Grady is also the brother of Mikki Thrasher McFatter, wife of one of Houston County's former judges who now resides "on the beach" in Panama City Beach, Florida with her now retired, always "gone fishing" husband, Bill.

Landmark Park carries the children's book Tim & Sally's Vegetable Garden, by Grady Thrasher.  It sells for $20.50.   They can be found in the Martin Drugstore as well as the gift shop in the Interpretive Center.
