Charlotte Brackin is the source of our Brackin material. I "met" her at http://www.genforum.com. After a series of correspondences and her request to know where I lived, she wrote:

As a child, I lived at 1015 North Park Ave. My parents ran Brackin Grocery on the corner of Park Ave. and Montgomery Hwy. My grandparents, K. A. and Flossie Tidwell lived across the Hwy on Park Ave.

We went to Calvary Baptist Church. My family still goes there. My husband lived at 1310 Tacoma St. from age 13 until we were married in 1963. My parents live near Rehobeth on Helms Rd now . One brother lives across thestreet and my sister lives up the street. (Wayne Brackin & Jackie Holland) I have another brother who lives on Tacoma St. and has his own Law Firm in Dothan . It is a

small world, isn't it. Are you related to Phil and Ed Ramsey? They went to Calvary Church. I saw Ed (Sharman's brother-in-law)  this summer at my husband's Dothan High School reunion. He is still as handsome as ever.
