7 Up Frosting

1/2 cup pecans -- chopped

1 small can pineapple -- crushed

1 small can coconut

2 eggs

1 stick Oleo or butter

1 3/4 cups sugar

Combine and cook slowly til thick enough to spread. Source: "Thelma Martin"

Apricot Jello Topping

Recipe By :Sharman Ramsey

1 small carton of whipped cream whipped
 


1/2 cup sugar

3 Tablespoons flour -- Blend w/sugar

1 egg -- well beaten

1 cup apricot juice (mix 2 small cans for enough juice) Cook until thickened. Cool.

Then stir into the thickened mixture.

Carrot Cake Frosting

1 pound confectioner's sugar

1/2 Tablespoon butter

1 Large package of cream cheese

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup pecans – chopped

Mix all ingredients together except for nuts.

Add nuts and mix by hand. Then spread on cooled cake.

Chocolate Syrup

1 Cup Sugar

2 Tablespoons Cocoa

1/2 Stick Butter

1 Cup Pet Milk

1 Teaspoon Vanilla

Mix and melt sugar, cocoa and butter. Add milk, stirring constantly until it comes to a rolling boil.

Cook 1 minute. Add vanilla.

Easy Icing

1 Box Powdered Sugar

1 Stick Butter

3 Tablespoons Milk

1 Teaspoon Vanilla

Mix and spread on cake.

Hummingbird Cake Icing

Recipe By :Hilda Ramsey

1 8 oz cream cheese -- softened

1/2 box powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup nuts -- chopped and toasted

Cream together cream cheese and butter. Add sugar and stir till creamy. Stir in vanilla and toasted nuts.
